I have written a Bible study book entitled, “A Christmas Carol, A Story of Redemption.” It is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol.” The core theme of this timeless story reaches out to Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy yet wretched man who must confront his own redemption or face the terrifying fate of eternity as a lost soul. To escape the grim destiny that awaits him like that of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, Scrooge must genuinely seek repentance, express love for others, and ask for forgiveness.
In a final bid to transform into the man God created him to be, Scrooge will face numerous challenging confrontations. How will he ultimately change for the better? What pivotal moment will awaken him to the truth of salvation? How will he go about rectifying the wrongs he has inflicted on those around him?
