Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol”

This captivating music video adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol” beautifully reveals the essence of this Dickens classic and highlights the spirit of the Christmas season. It is my heartfelt hope and prayer that we lift our eyes to the heavens, seek the heart of God, and embrace Jesus Christ as our Savior.

I have written a Bible study book entitled, “A Christmas Carol, A Story of Redemption.” It is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol.” The core theme of this timeless story reaches out to Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy yet wretched man who must confront his own redemption or face the terrifying fate of eternity as a lost soul. To escape the grim destiny that awaits him like that of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, Scrooge must genuinely seek repentance, express love for others, and ask for forgiveness.

In a final bid to transform into the man God created him to be, Scrooge will face numerous challenging confrontations. How will he ultimately change for the better? What pivotal moment will awaken him to the truth of salvation? How will he go about rectifying the wrongs he has inflicted on those around him? Join me on this inspiring journey of transformation and hope.

I invite you to join me as we read, explore, and uncover the profound connections between this story and the teachings of the Bible. Discover how “A Christmas Carol” addresses crucial themes of sin and the incredible gift of salvation. You will find it enlightening to see how God’s word intertwines with the narrative and the life of Ebenezer Scrooge—a man who had lost his hope for change, lacked kindness, and showed no charity to others.

In Christ’s Love,

Annah Crawford
